Creative Arts on the Schowalter Villa campus promotes creativity and community through a program that includes two and three-dimensional media. Opportunities include pottery classes, a painting club, arts and crafts and much more!
At Schowalter Villa, you have many opportunities to pursue your existing hobbies while cultivating new ones if you choose to.
A well-equipped woodworking shop is available for residents to use. Whether you’re an experienced woodworker or just getting started, you’ll be able to find the equipment you need to create in the shop.
Grow herbs, flowers, vegetables — whatever suits your fancy — in your own personal plot. You can also get involved with landscaping on the Schowalter Villa campus if you desire.
Our quilting station is located in the Villa Life Center. Quilt your heart away while making new friends at the quilting table!
Come enjoy a welcoming and low-stress setting to learn about throwing pottery on the wheel and hand-building with clay. All skill and mobility levels are welcome. Learn more.
Join us for our watercolor painting club at the Bluestem Wellness Center in Hesston! Bring your paints and a friend if you want and get creative with a group of other avid painters. All experience levels are welcome!
The indoor walking path in the Bluestem Wellness Center in Hesston has a rotating art gallery along the walls of the indoor walking path. Residents and community memberships enjoy viewing the art as they stroll the walking path.
